Lane County Divorce Records

Lane County divorce records retain and preserve information about marriages lawfully terminated in the court. In Lane County, the dissolution of marriages happens in the family court, a division of the county’s circuit court. Divorce records (i.e., case files) are generally public and open to inspection and/or copying. To view a Lane County divorce record, use the OJD’s Online Records Search or visit the Lane County Circuit Court to use public terminals. Alternatively, request copies of these records, such as a divorce decree, in person, by e-mail, by mail, or online.

Persons who obtain divorce records can expect to find information such as the names of the parties (i.e., the spouses ending their marriage), the case number, the filing date, motions, the day the marriage finally ended, the divorce decree, etc.
